Lars was a soldier after his school years. He served nine months of basic military duty in the Kongelige Livgarde, an infantry regiment within the Danish army. It wasn't the right choice for him to do, so he sought out something new after completing it , and decided to go to college to study biology. Anette returned from a juggler course and showed Lars just how much she could do in just three days, even though Lars was already working for half a year. Lars was impressed and was determined to try it as well. He dropped out of college to enroll in juggling school. He also studied fire breathing and performing juggling. After the completion of high school he traveled around Europe with two buddies, which was where he performed on the streets of Paris, Munich, Moscow, Warsaw, and other cities. Then, two years later, he came in contact with a children's circus where he discovered pantomime and street theater and children's theater.
