Antonina Shevchenko is Antonina Shevchenko, a Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai MMA fighter from Peru, and mixed martial arts artist fighting for UFC. UFC for the Flyweight Division. She is an Kyrgyzstani. She is the older sister of the fellow UFC fighter and ex- UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko first began combat sports as a Muay Thai Kickboxer. Shevchenko made her debut at her first IFMA World Championship Tournament of 2003. Shevchenko defeated Suzane McKell in the finals by unanimous verdict. Antonina continued her career by winning a silver and bronze medals in 2007 and 2008 respectively, and a gold medal in 2011, as well as the year-end 2016 IFMA amateur world champion. Antonia has started her career as a professional at the age of three, was awarded in 2012 and 2016, the Lion Fight Lightweight Championships. The WMC World Championships also staged in 2016, and she was crowned the 2016 IFMA Amateur Muay Thai World Champion. Antonina fought Isa Tidblad Keskikangas last at Phoenix Fighting Championship. She won by a unanimous decision. Antonina shevchenko won her debut professional MMA fight in 2002 with Anara bayanova in the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan. She won via second-round TKO after which she won 2 additional fights at WXF X-Impact World Championships to get a 3-0 record. Shevchenko was absent from MMA so that she could focus on the sport of kickboxing. She made her return against Anissa Haddaoui in Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko beat Anissa by a unanimous vote and then defeated Valerie Domergue at Phoenix FC 4. The league was dissolved in the year 2018, Shevchenko enrolled into Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina's superior strike skills allowed her to TKO Nievera via knees in the body. Antonina's UFC contract was re-extended after this win. Antonina received a UFC contract after her win. Shevchenko took victory in a unanimous victory, however she fell in the second round to Roxanne Modafferi in the split decision. Antonina rebounded from the defeat by prevailing Lucie Prudilova's fight at UFC on ESPN Covingtonvs. Lawler who was able to win the fight by back naked choke submission. It was the top fight of the night for this fight. Shevchenko lost to Katlyn as well as Andrea Lee in three of her subsequent fights. She fought Ariane Lipski, but beat Ariane. Then, Antonina lost to Casey O'Neill at UFC Fight Night Santos vs. Walker via second-round TKO.
